Meet Chris

I’m an adaptive thinking adviser, credentialed coach and dyslexia‑informed practitioner based in Aotearoa New Zealand. For more than 15 years I’ve worked alongside diverse thinkers, leaders, educators and organisations to make thinking and working easier. My work sits at the intersection of coaching, capability building and practical problem‑solving —grounded in real relationships and real-world context.

Why this work matters to me…

I’ve seen how much shifts when people understand how they think — and when environments are designed with that in mind. Thinking differences aren’t the problem; poorly aligned systems and expectations are. I’m committed to reducing that misalignment and helping people work, lead and learn with greater clarity and confidence.

My own experience with dyslexic thinking shapes how I work. I understand the higher-effort zones, but I also recognise the divergent creativity, relational insight and problem‑solving that come with it. This lived experience keeps my approach practical, strengths‑based and human. I listen first, then we work things out together.

My Approach

My approach is relational, practical and accessible. I focus on:

  • Building understanding so people feel genuinely seen in how they think.

  • Reducing cognitive load through clearer communication and thoughtful task design.

  • Strengths‑based coaching that helps people work with their thinking, not against it.

  • Collaboration with leaders and educators so action is shared, not carried alone.

People often tell me they feel more understood, more confident and more equipped after even one conversation — and that’s the relationship I aim for in every piece of work.

The impact I see..

For individuals, this looks like clearer thinking, stronger performance, less overwhelm and greater confidence in how they think and work.

For organisations, it shows up in clearer communication, smart work design, more capable leaders and teams who can perform with less friction.
